The company also engages in the planning, development, and sale of direct mail; and provision of product shipping agency services. In addition, it owns, leases, and manages real estate; develops residential and commercial land; consults, plans and develops business systems and basic technologies; operates Teishin hospitals and 2 hotels; and holds and rents buildings, condominiums, and stores. Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. was founded in 1871 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
