Exposure to the arts improves a child's lifelong outcomes in multiple areas, and all people benefit from access to the arts and culture throughout their lives. Unfortunately, access to the arts varies significantly around the globe, often in parallel to socio-economic development. Corporations play a critical role in expanding access and supporting arts and culture, including through driving overall economic growth, fair labor practices such as work-life balance policies, support for the arts through charitable contributions, and policies and practices that respect employees' cultural heritage (for example, an indigenous peoples policy)
