There are several things you can do to increase the security of your account on Ethos, including:
Use unique passwords: One of the most important things you can do is use a unique password for your Ethos account. If you've ever used the same password for more than one website, you should create new and unique passwords for each site (or use a tool such as 1Password or LastPass to help you manage passwords across multiple services)
Create strong passwords: Your password should be difficult for others to guess -- try using a combination of uppercase, lowercase, symbols, and numbers
Rotate your password: Change your password at least every few months
Never share your password: Never share passwords. Ethos Support will never ask for your account password, two-factor codes, or credentials for your banking institutions
Monitor your account activity: Pay attention to your Ethos account and any activity you don't recognize (for example, changes to your personal details). See an email notifying you of a login or account update you don't recognize? Alert us as soon as you see something and we'll work with you to make sure your account is still secure
